Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 72 Hours Biweekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute injuries, medical emergencies, and trauma in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document care accurately using electronic health record systems
• Administer and electronically record medications delivered to patients in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver timely, high-quality care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
• Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary ED team to manage high-acuity patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient care within an ED setting
