Physical Therapist PT Pediatric Carle Health is hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide individualized care for patients of all ages. Overview & Compensation

Compensation range: $36.74–$63.19 per hour. Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients' physical condition and needs. Establish PT treatment goals based on initial evaluations. Develop corrective exercise and treatment programs. Supervise treatment and record patient progress. Determine proper equipment usage and instruct patients accordingly. Teach patients, staff, and student affiliates about rehabilitative therapy techniques. Evaluate clinical findings to determine diagnoses and care outcomes. Participate in educational programs, literature, workshops, and in‑service meetings to enhance professional growth. Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and other required reports. Collaborate with support personnel following legal and ethical guidelines. Establish a PT Plan of Care based on functional deficits and patient goals. Conduct objective testing for range of motion, strength, and functional performance. Administer therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, iontophoresis, and electrical stimulation as appropriate. Deliver manual techniques for stabilization, facilitation, or inhibition of movement. Complete daily documentation and charging in the Therapy EMR. Communicate patient progress and treatment recommendations to referring providers. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants per regulatory guidelines. Use standardized outcome measures consistently to reflect functional performance accurately. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois (IDFPR). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required). Relevant work experience in physical therapy.
