Job Title: IT Technology Services Senior Specialist 

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAPʼs business processes and improve work efficiency.  

Expectations and Tasks:  

Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages. Facilitate the system, service, and product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and high available operations for and between system and cloud services. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Manage cloud technologies, the associated architectural styles (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks. Apply agile software delivery process and the industry-standard toolset for DevOps implementation. Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as non-SQL databases or data lakes. Apply modern SaaS platform, integration, and extensibility concepts.  

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:  

• S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools; 

• SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with BTP, Ariba, and SuccessFactors;  

• Advising on critical and complex landscape changes during life cycle management; 

• Designing and leading Specialist reports on current to future customer landscapes; and 

• SAP S/4HANA and its integration into existing business systems. 

Experience must include two (2) years involving each of the following 

• Analyzing customer technical requirements, coordinating ECS Delivery team, and driving topics to resolution; and  

• Managing Customer landscape within ECS & understanding interdependencies between systems.

Compensation Range Transparency : The annual base salary range for this position is $153,358 - $216,128. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $153,358 - $245,600 . The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
