Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Florida PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in an acute care hospital or similar inpatient setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to assist with mobility, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and use of common adaptive equipment preferred. Valid, verifiable clinical experience as a PTA. Years of experience preferred: 1+ year in hospital or acute care setting.
