Driver Position

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a Driver to join their team. As a Driver, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting delivery and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Driver

Location: Long Island City, NY

Pay Range: $22-$23 per hour

Shift: MondayThursday: 5:30 AM 2:00 PM + Sunday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Duration: temp-to-hire

What's the Job?

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials to clients.
• Assist with warehouse duties such as stocking, retrieving packages, and general cleaning.
• Perform packouts by reading purchase orders and preparing items for delivery.
• Work in walk-in refrigerators and freezers, taking temperatures of food products.
• Load and unload box trucks and vans efficiently and safely.

What's Needed?

• Valid driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work early morning hours, with start times from 4am to 7:30am.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages and equipment.
• Comfort working in refrigerated environments.
• Adherence to uniform requirements: khaki pants, polo shirts, and non-slip shoes.
