Cardiac Rehab Dietitian
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Rehab Outpatient Dietitian to join our healthcare team. This role will provide nutrition care to our cardiac rehab patient population at two locations Fort Worth and Dallas. The role is expected to work three days per week at Fort Worth and two days per week at Dallas. Schedule: Monday-Friday, no nights or weekends!
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
- Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- At least one year of clinical experience preferred
- Licensed Dietitian status in Texas
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care
Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
