Job Description & Requirements Position: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Cleveland, Ohio Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hour nights Employment Type: Travel As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Key Responsibilities A Administrate a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for treated patients. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Physical and Other Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Must be able to lift 20 pounds easily; lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required when moving patients. Must have specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. BLS certification required; ACLS required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. NBRC license. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Pay Package: Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
