Job Title: Inventory Coordinator Location: Rockville, MD 20850 Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (40 hours/week) Type: 6-month contract Pay: $30.00–$35.00/hour Work Model: Onsite

Overview System One is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join a growing biotech company in Rockville, MD. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in inventory, stockroom, receiving, materials coordination, or laboratory support who enjoys a mix of hands-on and administrative work. The role is approximately 50% hands-on supporting labs/offices and 50% desk-based, with responsibility for keeping materials, supplies, and equipment services organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute incoming materials and packages
• Maintain stockrooms and inventory levels, including cycle counts and reconciliations
• Order and track laboratory supplies and materials, including lot number tracking
• Monitor and maintain gas inventories
• Work directly with vendors to coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and repairs
• Track equipment service agreements and maintain related documentation

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus)
• Experience with inventory, stockroom operations, receiving, materials handling, warehouse support, or a similar environment
• Comfortable using Excel to track inventory, update logs, and perform reconciliations
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with a role that combines hands-on materials support with computer/administrative responsibilities
