• Team Oriented - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all team members Essential Job Functions (include the following): • Hire, train, manage, and schedules technicians to ensure adequate coverage for workflow within budgeted labor/Rx while keeping overtime low
• Develop training materials for departments and update as needed • Evaluate and modify workflow processes and implement changes as necessary to meet deadlines, accuracy and efficiency targets. • Ensure all medications are complete and accurate prior to scheduled departures with sufficient time for the medications to be prepared for courier delivery. • Assign and manage work volume appropriate to each technician's duties, measuring both productivity and accuracy. • Ensure Fulfillment technicians are fully trained on assigned workflow area and processes within established time period. • Manage daily automation audits to ensure accurate packaging and filling of medications. • In coordination with Director of Operations, develop/conduct regularly scheduled performance evaluations. Provide individual feedback for each team members and document performance improvement goals and objectives.
• Assist with quarter-end inventory prep and physical inventory. • Work as needed on daily functions which may include, but is not limited to, filling, stocking, prepacking and working with automation to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries • Lead by example in all areas of role and supporting the non-negotiable attributes; attitude, dependability, commitment, productivity, efficiency and upholding policies and procedures. • Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently. • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications. • Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed Education and/or Certifications:
• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB) Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
• Advanced proficiency in computer applications related to department operations and job function.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate Work Environment:
