Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in inpatient and outpatient settings and create personalized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise regimens
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting is strongly preferred
