Cath Lab Technician

Hiring: Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Rapid City, South Dakota




We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support complex cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions, and peripheral vascular procedures at Monument Health.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
✅ Associate degree (2 years) in a science-related field with peripheral/endovascular experience and cath lab experience (e.g., AS in EMT).
OR
✅ RCIS / ARRT / RCVT certification with peripheral/endovascular experience.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with coronary procedures, complex PCI, and peripheral interventions.
Ability to perform table movement (panning).
Arrhythmia recognition and treatment, with critical patient assessment skills.
Experience assisting with contrast delivery devices.
Knowledge of IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, Penumbra, and balloon pump procedures.
Some structural heart experience preferred.

EMR: EPIC (required)
Epic Cupid preferred
Baxter IV pumps
Omnicell medication dispensing
Schedule & On-Call
Days: Four 10-hour shifts
Nights: Three 12-hour shifts, with guaranteed 12 hours
Day shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
Night shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
Weekend rotation: Every third weekend
Call coverage includes day and weekend call
Holiday coverage may be required
Time off requires manager approval
