Physical Therapy - PTA SNF
13-week Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), working day shifts from 8:00 AM4:30 PM. The PTA will provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence while supporting individualized treatment plans in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.
Requirements:
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license for the applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience
- Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfer techniques, and mobility rehabilitation
- Ability to accurately document patient progress and implement established treatment plans
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
