Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: October 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU/CCU unit serving patients of all ages, including those presenting with respiratory failure and other high-acuity conditions
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2–3 in accordance with unit standards
• Utilize Cerner EHR for documentation and patient management
• Participate in float coverage as needed, with a float ratio of up to 1:6
• Fulfill weekend and on-call requirements as needed, including every-other-weekend availability
• Adhere to all unit dress code standards; scrubs of traveler's choice are acceptable — no casual wear

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure meeting all education, licensure, and certification requirements to practice in North Carolina
• Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR
• Experience managing patients with respiratory failure or similar critical diagnoses
