Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and student needs
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to the goals of special education

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Support students in classroom settings, assisting with behavioral management strategies and skill-building
• Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress
• Assist teachers and school staff in maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
• Communicate effectively with school teams and caregivers regarding progress and concerns
• Respond to substitute assignments on a per diem, as-needed basis, adapting quickly to new classrooms and routines
