Job Title: Electrical Panel Builder

Pay: $24-$26/hour

Monroe, NC

Position Overview


We are seeking a skilled Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and test industrial electrical control panels used in automated equipment and manufacturing systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical work and can follow schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Assemble electrical control panels from drawings and schematics
• Mount electrical components such as PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, breakers, and motor controls
• Route, label, and terminate wiring neatly and accurately
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Perform point-to-point wiring and electrical assembly
• Test completed panels to ensure proper operation
• Troubleshoot and correct wiring issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience with panel building, electrical assembly, or industrial wiring
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and testing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school training in electrical systems or industrial maintenance
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, or motor controls
• Experience in a manufacturing or automation environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to distinguish wire colors and markings
