Job Description Summary Provide process management support for supervisors as well as training activities. Support the department on development and maintaining processes. Ensure effective communication of leadership model, scorecard and process management with team members or appropriate levels of staffing. Understand and communicate customer service goals of organization. Provide process support for the environmental department with measurement techniques to keep the program aligned with the OhioHealth scorecard and values. Support and monitor activity of the environmental services department. Responsibilities And Duties 10%: Support the defining and implementation of processes while identifying objectives, resource requirements and barriers within OhioHealth's goals. If staffing is a barrier, perform some daily environmental duties as needed. 10%: Monitor tools used in process management such as timelines, action plans, and measurement to include Bed Tracking system reports and data analysis in accordance with established objectives. 10%: Perform functions required of the position including educating and training Environmental Service staff and needed training for units/ancillaries, while communicating with supervisors as appropriate. 10%: Report on process progress to department leadership while identifying need for adjustments based on measurement/performance of process. Use problem‑solving skills for adjustments to resolve departmental issues and barriers. 15%: Approach, help develop, deploy, and continually maintain department's processes using department tools. 10%: Monitor and maintain all Environmental Services staff while defining objectives, resource requirements and barriers with the scope of OhioHealth's goals. Provide keys and pagers for shifts, perform staffing adjustments and misc. duties when needed. Ensure fair and equitable attention of shifts and days. 15%: Promote and drive customer‑service initiatives to include service recovery throughout the organization, and assist in training all levels of the Environmental Services Staff. Use creative skills to sustain a high level of customer‑service momentum. 20%: Monitor and evaluate work progress of employees while working with departments to meet special needs. Inform leadership of improvement opportunities for staff with deficiencies. Engage in deployment of reward and recognition programs with staff. As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties. Minimum Qualifications High School or GED (Required) Additional Job Description Customer service skills. Knowledge of process improvement techniques and ability to develop and teach adults.
