The Inland Region Special Projects Coordinator/Senior Emergency Services Coordinator (SESC) position involves a perceptive understanding of state and federal regulations, adult training methods, project management, and emergency management concepts.

The SESC will be the lead team member over high-level special projects with the Inland Region, and they must be able to work independently, demonstrating effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and function in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities.  This position will oversee project progress, ensure timely delivery of outcomes, and be a contributing team member. 

As a lead, the SESC will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing others. The SESC is responsible for identifying training needs, developing, and providing training and presentations to the Inland team, and other internal and external partners.

Working Conditions

DMV Pull Program: Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required. The position(s) require(s) a valid Driver’s License (DL). You must answer the questions addressing your DL on your application. Ensure you provide your DL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.

Hybrid Telework: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Additional in office days may be required based on the business need.

Conflict of Interest (COI): This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code and is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
