Lab Assistant - Core Lab
$17.75 - $22 per hourLabCorp
Laboratory assistant position in Dublin, Ohio supporting core lab operations. Responsibilities include specimen processing, data entry, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance in a clinical diagnostic setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
- Perform specimen and patient information scanning and data entry
- Monitor lab equipment functionality and conduct routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain work area cleanliness
- Complete administrative logs and follow standard operating procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to handle biological specimens safely and comfortably
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Attention to detail with multitasking capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $17.75 - $22.00 per hour plus shift differential
