Server Position

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server's primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return again and again.

Starting at $10.00 per hour plus tips| Requires flexibility to work various shifts

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes, making recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Understand the various food and beverage products, be able to fill and deliver orders, which may include specialty drinks and food items, use the appropriate garnishes and service ware.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter orders in our point-of-sale system.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food/beverage and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Clear table of used service ware as guest allows throughout the duration of their meal.
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Clean and reset tables for next guest.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment and established guidelines (i.e. cleaning and stocking).
• Accurately maintain a cash bank through correct pricing of products and cash handling, while following cash handling procedures.
• Banquet room set up, serving meals and beverages, and clean-up of banquet room.
• Maintain a clean and organized work service area.
• Assist guests and team members as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant/banquet as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.
• Be compliant with all local, state and federal regulations and Tribal MICS.
• Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to F&B Manager/Supervisor.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Participate in all other duties as requested by the F&B Director, Manager or Supervisor.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic computer experience is preferred.
• Accurate cash handling experience and good mathematical skills are required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain food safety and sanitation certificate.
• Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.
• Must work well with people; possess excellent customer service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
• Must possess strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
• Must be dependable.
