Location: Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center | Urbandale, IA Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cook to join our skilled nursing team. This role includes day and evening shifts and plays an essential part in providing quality dining experiences for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and portion standards
- Coordinate food production with scheduled meal service times
- Follow recipes, special diet requirements, and food safety protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Preferred: 1 year of dining services experience in healthcare or a similar setting
- Culinary school experience is a plus
