Job Description Job Description Licensed and Resident Professional Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counselors Join a Growing Team Making a Difference in the Lives of Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Families Loudoun Psychological Services (LPS) is a well-established, rapidly growing behavioral health practice serving Northern Virginia with offices in Sterling and Leesburg. We are seeking licensed clinicians and residents eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as psychologists licensed through PSYPACT, to join our team as independent contractors. We are particularly seeking clinicians with experience and passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families. Priority consideration will be given to candidates who have training and experience providing therapy services to youth and family populations. Opportunities are also available to work with adults and other specialty populations based on your interests and expertise. This is a flexible hybrid opportunity , allowing clinicians to provide services both in-person and via telehealth , based on client preferences and clinician availability. LPS is a trauma-informed practice that accepts most major commercial insurance plans, as well as Medicaid and Medicare. We proudly serve clients of diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Requirements * Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field, or a doctoral degree in Psychology or a related discipline * Current Virginia licensure, licensure eligibility, residency status, or PSYPACT participation (for psychologists) * Minimum of two years of experience providing individual, family, or group therapy preferred * Strong interest in working with children, adolescents, and families preferred * Foundational knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment approaches * Experience utilizing evidence-based interventions for diverse clinical populations * Ability to maintain a weekly caseload of at least 10 clients * Experience treating trauma-related concerns strongly preferred * Availability to work at least two evenings per week * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Benefits LPS offers a highly supportive environment designed to help clinicians thrive professionally and financially.
