Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with GD&T requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Manual Lathe and/or Mill Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.
• Experience with precision measurement and blueprint reading.
• Ability to work with very close tolerances (thousandths).
• Proficiency in using measuring equipment and making offset changes.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $58,000 - $72,000
