Inspector Packer

Job Summary Examines and packs products while maintaining critical production and quality standards. Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities Observe and follow all safety regulations. Pack more than one line of polyethylene bags/liners in a neat and orderly manner according to job specification, closely adhering to the count per box. Check quality of products for width and length, seal strength, packaging specifications and any other specifications noted as special instructions. Ensure all products are properly labeled before stacking finished product. Keep accurate counts in the computer system. Report all production or equipment problems to the Machine Operator and/or Supervisor. Assist the team with breaks and maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area. Help pick up scrap material around production lines and cut down rolls. Assist in processing start‑up as required. Maintain and document required production and quality records. Perform other related functions and duties as assigned or required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and write to complete required forms and verify quality products are produced. Must have good vision, eye‑hand coordination, and hearing. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, days, or nights for 12 or more hours. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and crawl for extended periods multiple times per day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. No fear of heights. Manual dexterity involving total wrist action, twisting, pulling, and raising arms at or above shoulder height. Ability to work in warm, humid, and cool climates for 12 or more hours per day or night. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, steel toe shoes/boots, face shield, gloves, and face mask.
