Microbiology Technologist PRN

Job Summary We are seeking a Microbiology Technologist PRN to provide expertise and champion results as part of HCA Healthcare Laboratory Services. The role involves supporting patient experience and laboratory operations. Responsibilities Perform stat and routine microbiology and/or serology testing Apply theoretical concepts of laboratory medicine using independent judgement to ensure timely and accurate results Perform non‑technical duties including, but not limited to specimen receipt, processing, storage, retrieval and submission of samples for referral testing as required Support the department in achieving goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, work environment, and integration of intra‑ and interdepartmental activities Qualifications 2‑year/Associate’s Degree in a science Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology preferred State of Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain license during interview Technical specialty in Microbiology with additional experience in Serology/Immunology preferred 2 years experience in a clinical laboratory setting helpful About the Company HCA Healthcare Laboratory Services is a full‑service provider of clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services, delivering timely diagnostic information to hospitals, physicians, and clients.
