About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head Counsel, Product to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of legal and regulatory matters related to the full life cycle of products, from development to launch and beyond. This includes a focus on digital offerings and products that are regulated by the FDA. The role is pivotal, acting as a key advisor to executives and senior leaders, and requires a strategic approach to managing risk and developing legal strategies to support the company's global growth. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in both law firm and in-house settings, with a strong background in product development, launch, and marketing legal and regulatory issues, particularly in the areas of advertising and consumer protection laws. Applicants for the Head Counsel, Product position at the company should have a proven track record of building, leading, and mentoring legal teams, and be adept at making risk-based decisions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Experience in consumer goods, health tech, and digital product ecosystems is highly desirable.
