Dynamics 365 Developer Lead

Job Summary:

The Software Developer role focuses on providing technical leadership and hands-on development expertise in designing, implementing, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Platform, Azure, and Dataverse. This position requires leading Agile teams, architecting scalable and secure applications, integrating cloud services, and fostering innovation with AI technologies to meet complex business needs, particularly in CRM, case management, and public sector environments. Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams.
Perform code reviews and establish development standards, security controls, and best practices.
Architect, design, and implement Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Case Management solutions.
Develop and maintain Dataverse data models, business rules, security frameworks, and integrations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.
Build and configure Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, custom connectors, plugins, and APIs.
Design and implement cloud integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and other Azure services.
Lead Agile delivery teams and coordinate cross-functional workstreams.
Support application deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing production support.
Drive CI/CD implementation and automated testing using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
Leverage AI technologies to improve development productivity and solution innovation.
Stay current with Microsoft technology roadmaps and industry trends.

Required Skills:

Minimum 7 years of software development and enterprise application delivery experience.
At least 5 years implementing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
Minimum 3 years in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Solution Lead role.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Platform, and Dataverse.
Hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, App Services, Storage, and Key Vault.
Proficiency in .NET/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps/GitHub.
Experience designing and implementing complex system integrations and enterprise architecture artifacts.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, Agent experience profile, session templates, workstream, and routing.
Experience with custom Web API development, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills:

Prior experience in public sector or operations environments.
Experience with low-code development alongside custom development on Dynamics 365.
Knowledge of AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, Agents, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience promoting continuous improvement, automation, and innovation within development teams.

Must Haves:

Proven lead experience as a Microsoft Dynamics Developer.
Minimum 7 years software development and enterprise delivery experience.
Minimum 5 years implementing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform with Azure solution design.
Strong knowledge of Dynamics interoperability and integration with Microsoft cloud technologies.
Experience with both low-code and custom development on Dynamics 365.
