DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for administering and streamlining software development and IT operations through automation and CI/CD processes. This role partners closely with Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure efficient application deployments, adherence to compliance standards, and overall system reliability. The DevOps Engineer plays a key role in delivering, faster, more stable releases and maintaining high-performing environments. This position is based in our Newport Beach, California office and requires on-site presence five days per week. The salary for this role is $120,000.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and database deployments.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable)
• Collaborate with development teams to support seamless integration and delivery
• Enforce compliance with Separation of Duties (SoD) and related policies

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles

Must-Haves:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience operating in Azure environments
