Sales AdministratorHot Job Petersburg Hauling - Petersburg, VA 23803OverviewPosition Type Full TimeDescriptionThe Sales Administrator provides day-to-day administrative and customer support to the Sales Department. This person will work closely with the Sales Director, sales representatives, operations, customer service, and other departments to ensure customer needs are handled quickly and accurately.The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with both customers and internal teams. This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who takes initiative, follows through, and enjoys being part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to the Sales Director and sales team.Assist with preparing customer quotes, proposals, service agreements, and other sales documentation.Coordinate the setup of new customer accounts and services.Track outstanding proposals, agreements, customer requests, and other sales-related follow-up items.Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding service needs, account setup, documentation, and general questions.Work closely with Operations and Customer Service to coordinate new services, service changes, deliveries, removals, and special customer requests.Assist sales representatives with account research, reporting, prospect lists, and other sales activities.Maintain organized electronic records of contracts, pricing, proposals, and customer correspondence.Help ensure customer agreements and required documentation are complete and accurate.Assist with sales reports, pipeline updates, and other departmental reporting.Provide excellent internal and external customer service.Help identify and resolve customer issues by coordinating with the appropriate department.Support special projects, marketing initiatives, customer communications, and sales campaigns as needed.Perform additional administrative duties to support the Sales Department and overall operation.QualificationsPrevious administrative, sales support, customer service, or office experience required.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Professional and friendly customer-service approach.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Experience with CRM software, including HubSpot, is a plus.Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant experience is a plus.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
