Work Environment\nThis position will be performed remotely, allowing for a work-life balance by operating from the comfort of your own home. The flexible nature of telehealth not only streamlines the therapy process but also caters to clients who may face challenges accessing traditional in-office visits. Regular business hours are maintained, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ eating disorder symptoms, co-occurring mental health conditions, and overall treatment needs. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans leveraging assessment findings, working collaboratively with clients to establish achievable recovery goals. \n
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster positive change. \n
- Facilitate engaging therapy sessions aimed at addressing clients' distorted beliefs surrounding body image, food, and self-worth. \n
- Help clients cultivate healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills while developing strategies to counter disordered eating behaviors. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care, ensuring continuity and a holistic approach to client treatment. \n
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to enhance understanding of eating disorders, thereby promoting a supportive recovery environment. \n
- Document clients' progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions meticulously, ensuring adherence to all legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities aimed at advancing your clinical skills in the context of eating disorder treatment. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee. \n
- Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques for eating disorders, specifically CBT, DBT, and ACT. \n
- A comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders and associated co-occurring mental health conditions. \n
- Outstanding communication skills to foster rapport and trust with clients, ensuring a comfortable therapeutic alliance. \n
While a minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required, candidates with specialized training or additional experience in treating eating disorders will be preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology will enhance your ability to deliver effective care within a remote setting.
