Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Bash, CI/CD)

Salary: $81,100 - 187,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience in site reliability engineering and supporting mission-critical cloud services and production operations.
• Technical knowledge of infrastructure reliability, scalability, performance, incident response, automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration tools such as Terraform, Chef, and Ansible.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, and Bash.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• This role requires special access to OC2/OC3 realms, providing clearance to access OCI systems.
• Some U.S.-based or U.S. customer-facing roles may be subject to applicable immunization or occupational health mandates and/or drug testing requirements.

• Design and architect reliable infrastructure and services, forecast capacity needs, and ensure resources support current and future workloads.
• Partner with software development teams to build reliable, scalable infrastructure and features, and support deployments across regions and realms.
• Identify and lead opportunities to prototype new tools, applications, and infrastructure.
• Collect and analyze operational data, triage issues, monitor service health, document service conditions, and provide performance reporting.
• Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analyses, perform maintenance, and support provisioning, upgrades, security updates, backup and recovery, and decommissioning.
• Develop and test automation tools and scripts to collect metrics, monitor systems, and prevent or resolve infrastructure issues.
• Communicate service capacity, security, and performance requirements, and explain the operational impacts of infrastructure and tooling changes.
• Provide operational support, participate in on-call shifts, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalate when needed, and document incidents and post-mortems.
• Improve performance, deployment efficiency, resource usage, scalability, and reliability while maintaining security standards.
• Research site reliability trends and tools, share knowledge, and provide production analysis to inform business and design decisions.
• Manage work and priorities, collaborate across teams, address problems, contribute to knowledge sharing, and recommend process improvements.
