They take on the responsibility of making sure our equipment is always fully operational and ready for any rental at any time. Prepare rental equipment to suit customer project needs Inspection and quality assurance testing and reports of rental and sale equipment Preventative maintenance and minor repairs to rental equipment Shipping and receiving of rental and sale equipment Maintaining a high level of presentation and organization in our yard, warehouse and common areas Some work beyond regular hours required to attend to after-hours calls Equipment includes Automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, dry/pad mount/substation transformers, cable, motor starters, breakers, splitters, and more across a range of voltages and amperage levels. Requirements Minimum 3 years as a qualified working electrician (Journeyman or equivalent) Commercial and industrial electrical construction, repairs, maintenance and commissioning to high and low voltage system Able to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids Able to locate and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment Able to lift/move heavy equipment (50+ lbs.), work at heights, and in confined spaces Willingness to work outside regular hours for after-hours calls as needed Summary Where Potential Powers Progress At Sunbelt Solomon, we believe progress starts with people — their ideas, theirexpertise, and their drive to make energy work better.
