Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule Day Time Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a defense-related location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help support compliance with location rules for restricted or controlled areas. Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and assist with security-related requests while maintaining professionalism and attention to site protocols. Minimum Requirements Possess 2+ years of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
