Minimum 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Job Details Work 12‑hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 5 positions available with possibility of temp‑to‑perm placement Every other weekend requirement No on‑call responsibilities Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1 Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs BLS certification from AHA required RN license in state of employment or compact required 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers Practice independently in basic medical surgical unit setting Facility This healthcare facility operates a medical surgical unit providing comprehensive inpatient care for patients requiring surgical and medical interventions.
