Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Physician – Minnesota
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Multiple clinic locations in the Twin Cities metro area, Minnesota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible start and end times available). Possibility of overnight (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) or weekend call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM). Call shifts available in 12-hour or 24-hour increments. Patient volume of 18-22 patients per day.
Highlights:
- 1-2 FTE positions available; option to split 1 FTE between 2 providers (2 weeks per month each)
- 6-month contract with option to extend
- General OB/GYN clinic coverage with collaborative midwifery team and 2 Nurse Practitioners
- 1:1 clinical assistant support (medical assistant or LPN) with RN support on-site at most locations
- EPIC EMR system (experience preferred but not required)
- Procedures include LARC insertion, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and LEEP
- Overtime and holiday pay at 1.5x normal rate
Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN required
- Active Minnesota medical license required
- DEA registration required
- Minimum 1 year of general OB/GYN clinic experience
- Proficiency in LARC insertion, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and LEEP procedures
- Fingerprinting required (typically takes 48 hours to process; results must be posted prior to privileges being granted)
- Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days (possibility of emergency privileges with clean background)
