Brief Job Description:

Crossroads Community Services Board is seeking a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Worker to assist with the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of agency-owned, leased, and operated properties.

This position performs preventive maintenance and general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems . Responsibilities also include completing minor renovations, maintaining tools and materials, documenting work orders and expenses, and assisting with the monitoring and routine maintenance of agency vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in facility and vehicle maintenance, strong problem-solving and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current HVAC certification required.
• Experience in facility and vehicle maintenance required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel throughout Crossroads' service area.
• Flexible schedule may be required based on agency needs.
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings and background checks.
