Position Summary: Maintains cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing, polishing, and disinfecting items. Moves furniture and equipment. Able to operate equipment, such as, floor scrubber and buffer. Essential Functions Clears items such as, but not limited to, floors, elevators, furniture, windows, walls, screens, drinking fountains, lights, pipes, vents, and areas in high places using ladders when necessary. Maintains cleanliness by using methods such as, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing, polishing, and disinfecting. Moves furniture and equipment as needed. Responsible for correct use of cleaning compounds Operates power driven equipment such as floor scrubber and buffer and maintains such equipment. Participates in performance improvement activities. Performs other related duties as required and directed. Qualifications Required: Valid Michigan driver’s license, and a driver’s record approved by the Medical Center’s insurance agent for those employees who drive a vehicle as a requirement for the job (If Applicable).
