Associate Software Engineer

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Juno Beach, FL.Summary:We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer (AI-Native/Full Stack) to join a modern, AI-first development team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys building web applications, developing APIs, and leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to deliver high-quality software. You will work closely with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using modern technologies and development practices.Responsibilities:* Associate Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js or Angular* Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions* Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Devin AI, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and code quality* Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives* As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to software deployment, monitoring, and support activities* Follow modern software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD processes* Continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies in an AI-driven development environmentRequirements* 0-5 years of software engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, or personal projects* Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs* Experience developing web applications using Next.js or Angular* Experience with Git and modern version control workflows* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Devin AI, or similar platforms* Understanding of software testing principles and development best practices* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies quicklyPreferred Qualifications:* Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes* Exposure to Agile development methodologies* Experience building or contributing to full-stack applicationsWhat We're Looking For:* Curiosity and a passion for technology* Strong collaboration and communication skills* A growth mindset and willingness to embrace AI-first software development practices* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative engineering environmentJob TypeContractCompensation40 - $44
