Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to adult inpatients, under supervision as appropriate
• Conduct initial evaluations and develop/adjust remediation plans to support functional independence
• Implement evidence-based treatment activities focused on ADLs, mobility, and functional tasks
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment data in required records
• Collaborate with the rehab team (OT, PT, SLP, nursing, case-management) to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory and facility policies

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (state of West Virginia) or eligibility
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
• CPR/First Aid certification (or BLS as required)
• Ability to work effectively in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to commit to a 14-week travel assignment
