Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Leer is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our production team. The Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of products. This role supports daily production goals by following standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting. Conduct quality checks and document production data accurately. Follow all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors. Meet production targets and deadlines as assigned. Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience in manufacturing or construction a plus Forklift experience a plus Qualifications Strong communication skills, strong math skills, and a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using drills, saws and small hand tools efficiently and safely Proficiency in reading and using tape measures Ability to read and interpret blueprints Adherence to all safety policies and protocols Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift 20-50 pounds on a continual basis Ability to safely operate drills, table saws and hand tools Ability to stand on concrete for up to 10 hours a day EEO IS THE LAW EEO IS THE LAW (Spanish) Leer Inc is the world’s leading manufacturer of retail ice merchandising equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, and other temperature controlled storage solutions.
