Clinical Instructor (Adjunct) – Tennessee This is an ongoing job posting for clinical instructor positions available across various clinical sites within the state of Tennessee. Opportunities are open for current and future semesters, with applications accepted on a rolling basis. Areas of focus include Mental Health, Pediatrics, OB, and Medical Surgical. Key Responsibilities Clinical Instruction and Supervision Evaluation of Student Performance Liaison Between Academic and Clinical Sites Uphold Safety and Professional Standards Documentation and Communication Primary Responsibilities Subject Matter Expertise Effective Communication Pedagogical Mastery Operational Excellence Appreciation and Promotion of Diversity Assessment of Student Learning Utilization of Technology to Enhance Teaching and Learning Continuous Improvement Hours Hours will vary based on clinical facilities, with potential for 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts and availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. Weekdays and weekends are available. Compensation Graduate nursing adjunct rates: $750 per didactic credit (about 15 hours), $1500 per lab credit (about 30 hours), and $2250 per clinical credit (about 45 hours). Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing required for the BSN program Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for the PN program Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of TN Experience educating nurses in a lab, clinical, or simulation setting preferred Benefits Eligible for the Herzing 401(k) plan with company match and education assistance, including full tuition coverage when enrolling in our DNE program after 90 days of employment (subject to program terms and conditions).
