Research Assistant

Location: Miami, FL Job Type: 15-Week Contract Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented Research Assistant to support an active clinical research team during a 15‑week contract assignment. This position assists with the day‑to‑day coordination of clinical studies, participant interactions, data collection, and regulatory documentation while ensuring compliance with study protocols and research guidelines. Responsibilities Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, and follow‑up. Support the informed consent process and maintain participant records. Collect, enter, and verify research data for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and maintain study files and regulatory documentation. Coordinate study visits and assist with clinical procedures as needed. Process laboratory specimens and maintain study supplies. Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements. Communicate with investigators, research staff, sponsors, and participants. Assist with data entry, report preparation, and study closeout activities. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health science, biology, nursing, or related field preferred. Previous experience in clinical research or a healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
