Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates rolling mills with three progressive stands
• Works toward setting up and operating rolling mills with eight progressive stands
• Encouraged to work with Rolling Mill Operator 3 to expand Rolling Mill Knowledge
• Assists Rolling Mill Operator 1 with troubleshooting and setup as able
• Operates all testing equipment including: micrometers, hardness testers, shadowgraphs, etc.
• Provides complete, accurate documentation when required
• Participates in cross departmental work production based on business needs Learns and upholds defined quality standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment
• Mechanical experience including: operation of high speed automatic and semi-automatic equipment
• Set up and adjustment of metal forming processes (stamping, forming, shearing) preferred
• Experience troubleshooting production equipment and ability to identify machine problems preferred
• Experience measuring parts with precision instruments including: micrometers, digital calipers, load testers, etc.
• Pass required exam of basic math and English

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role including shift premium is $23.10 - $24.15 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. This role is bonus/and or incentive eligible.
