Contracts Manager

Overview JST is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager. This is a full-time position in Washington, D.C. Contract Manager Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of federal government contracts, from proposal and award through performance, modification, closeout, and renewal. Interpret and administer contract terms, conditions, statements of work, deliverables, and other contractual requirements. Monitor contract performance, milestones, deliverables, funding, invoices, and compliance obligations. Serve as a primary point of contact for government contracting officials, contracting officer representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Support contract negotiations, modifications, extensions, task orders, and change requests. Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with legal, finance, program management, and leadership. Ensure compliance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency-specific requirements, and company policies. Track contract funding, ceiling values, option periods, and key dates to ensure timely action. Review and support preparation of contract deliverables, correspondence, reports, and other customer-facing documentation. Coordinate with proposal and business development teams on new opportunities, solicitations, and contract vehicles. Manage subcontractor and teaming-partner relationships as applicable. Maintain accurate contract files and documentation for audits and internal reporting. Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership. Contracts Manager Qualifications Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution; Five years of experience providing technical assistance, including at least one year in personnel management and oversight of contract performance. Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English to effectively communicate with Government officials and direct Contractor staff.
