Join our Emergency Room Team!

Role: Emergency Dept Technician CNA

Schedule: Full-Time - 36 Hours - 7:00pm-7:00am

Department: Emergency Room (ED)

Location: Novant Health Community Hospital of Stokes - Danbury, NC

This role provides both patient care and administrative support. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), preparing and turning over patient rooms, managing linens and trash, restocking unit supplies, setting up for procedures, and providing support to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed. Team members will also be trained to perform 12-lead EKGs and assist with patient registration, including insurance verification, electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, and use of insurance verification systems. Strong computer skills are required, and all registration duties are trainable.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School or GED, required.
• Experience: Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable, one year experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Nurse Aide I, required. American Heart Association BLS required. Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record, required. Phlebotomy Certification, preferred.
