This position is responsible for handling green coffee, roasted coffee, and flavoring, while maintaining real-time accuracy in the Aptean ERP system. The role serves as both a hands-on material handler and the site expert for Aptean processes, ensuring green coffee loading, roasting, grinding, and flavoring teams follow correct system workflows for inventory movement, consumption and outputs./ppESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:/pulliMaterial Handling/liulliUtilize a forklift and reach lift to transport materials efficiently and safely across the warehouse./liliMaintain a First-In/First-Out system to guarantee that expiry requirements are met without any spoilage./liliSupport daily roasting, grinding and packaging schedules by ensuring materials are available and accurately tracked in Aptean./liliAssist in physical inventories and cycle counts, reconciling differences between physical and system quantities./li/ulliERP (Aptean) Super User Responsibilities/liulliServe as the go-to resource for Aptean transactions related to coffee production, roasting outputs, blend builds, packaging outputs, transfer and consumption./liliTrain and coach team members on proper ERP usage and reinforce accountability for system accuracy./liliTroubleshoot data or transaction errors (missing outputs, incorrect inventory balances) and work with ERP/IT support teams to resolve./liliAudit material movement and ensure all transactions are completed daily to maintain live system accuracy./liliPartner with leads, supervisors, and planners to streamline workflows and eliminate manual or redundant processes./liliParticipate in system testing, updates, and process improvement projects tied to Aptean enhancements./li/ulliGeneral/liulliPerform general housekeeping tasks in and around storage areas daily, promoting cleanliness and organization./liliContinuously strive to improve processes and refine methods of job performance, seeking out opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness./liliUphold and deliver safe, high-quality, and consistent products and services that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our valued customers./liliAdhere to the guidelines and requirements outlined in the General Safety Communication Program./liliComplete any additional duties or tasks that may be assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team./li/ul/ulpEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred/liliDegree in supply chain, business or related field preferred/liliExperience in coffee roasting or food manufacturing preferred/liliForklift, Reach Lift, Sit Down/Stand Up Lift Experience preferred/liliHands-on experience with Aptean ERP or similar ERP such as SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite) required/li/ululliBasic Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required/liliAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment required/li/ulpKEY COMPETENCIES:/pulliEnsures all roasting, packaging, and material movements are captured accurately in Aptean./liliFollows through on transaction and data integrity every shift./liliWorks effectively with roasters, packers, planners and quality teams./liliIdentifies and implements ways to improve efficiency and reduce errors./liliSupports a culture of accuracy and ownership through system training and feedback./li/ulpPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:/pulliLift up to 50-75lbs occasionally/liliAttention to Detail/liliAble to Accurately Perform Repetitive Tasks/li/ulpWORK ENVIRONMENT AND EQUIPMENT:/pulliThis is a warehouse position inside a warm and dry facility./liliThis position requires work in a warehouse roasting facility that requires constant standing on concrete floors, exposed to loud equipment noise and subject to coffee dust strong odors./liliPersonal protection equipment and other Good Manufacturing Practices are mandatory./li/ulpWORK HABITS:/pulliRegular attendance and promptness are required for this position./liliSome work may be required outside of the normal work week./li/ul/div
