Graphic Designer With Packaging Experience
We're currently seeking a Graphic Designer with some packaging experience for a 6-12 month contract onsite in Charlotte, NC with a Fortune 500 company.
Role
- Designer meets daily with manager and global design team to understand priorities
- Designer receives new assignments through a creative brief and collaborates with content editor to develop new packaging design "templates".
- Designer will work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Designer receives change requests via Workfront proofing tool and makes updates until the project has been approved by all stakeholders
- Designer finalizes packaging templates as approved and makes sure they are built for production team to build all project SKUs.
- Designer may also have projects to create icons, infographics, presentation decks.
- Designer may also attend store walks to review existing packaging in person with cross functional team to collaborate on opportunities for improvement.
- Daily collaboration with Design Manager, peer designers, content editors and project managers
Desired Skills
- Packaging design experience 5+ yrs
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator is required
- Experience working with global team
