Bilingual Associate Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, motion practice, and trials.
• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and other legal documents.
• Review and sign pleadings and other case-related filings.
• Evaluate and review new case matters.
• Conduct client consultations and intake interviews.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain accurate case files and comply with court deadlines.
• The ideal candidate is confident in court, possesses strong legal writing and analytical skills, and can effectively manage a caseload while providing guidance and support to legal staff. Some travel within Arizona is required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law (Arizona Bar admission preferred).
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Immigration law experience is required.
• Personal injury litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong courtroom advocacy, legal research, and legal writing skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining all required continuing legal education (CLE) requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Two or more years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling client-facing legal matters and court appearances.
