Responsibilities Develop conceptual, logical, and physical IT engineering designs that support infrastructure requirements for business application projects. Analyze business requirements and ensure traceability of the design to those requirements. Assess testing requirements and prepare testing strategies, implementation plans, and transition plans. Design and architect cloud‑based solutions, serving as a hands‑on technical engineer on system projects focused on strategic technology directives. Resolve complex hardware, environmental, software, operating‑system, and subsystems issues. Oversee problem avoidance actions in cloud hosting environments. Implement changes to business information and technical systems. Analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation as necessary. Authorize risk level changes and recommend solutions to minimize or prevent system interruption. Evaluate, recommend, and select new software and hardware. Perform change and problem management using standard tools. Ensure conformance and compliance with existing system standards and measure performance for proper operation. Lead highly technical or complex projects utilizing staff and resources. Follow and enforce technical standards for programming and design techniques. Train system technical staff on the use of software and hardware tools in accordance with required standards and procedures. Monitor compliance with internal audit requirements and information security guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 6+ years of experience delivering IT solutions, including hands‑on experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud services (planning, development, migration, and integration). Proficiency with Terraform, AWS Config, AWS Inspector, GuardDuty, and other AWS cloud technologies. Experience with CI/CD automation, SDLC, cloud computing (AWS), Python, Bash, and Ansible.
