In this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art computerized tomography technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images while providing exceptional patient care. Working closely with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals, you will play an important role in supporting accurate diagnoses and delivering a safe, positive patient experience.What you'll doPerform CT imaging procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols.Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition throughout imaging procedures, communicating any concerns or changes to the care team.Position patients and imaging equipment appropriately to ensure accurate imaging and optimal image quality.Review patient records and imaging orders, prioritize workflow, prepare equipment, and maintain accurate documentation within electronic systems.Inspect, test, and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues and helping ensure reliable operation and compliance with radiation safety standards.Who you areGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Computed Tomography program.Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) required, with one of the following: Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), or Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR), or Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology.Prior clinical radiology experience preferred.Strong commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality imaging practices.Collaborative communicator who thrives in a team-oriented healthcare environment.Why WakeMedWork with advanced imaging technology in a leading healthcare organization.Be part of a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care.Support physicians and patients through accurate, timely diagnostic imaging.Join a culture that values respect, teamwork, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and creating high-quality diagnostic images that help improve lives, we encourage you to apply and join the WakeMed team.
