Qualifications and Experience: Valid credential or certification as a School Psychologist in California. Expertise in conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling. Familiarity with best practices in educational testing, behavioral interventions, and academic planning. Experience collaborating with teachers, families, and other educational professionals. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and student populations. Key Responsibilities: Provide psychological assessments to identify student needs related to learning, behavior, and mental health. Participate actively in the IEP process; develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create effective interventions and supports. Offer direct counseling services to students, both individually and in group settings. Maintain accurate, timely records and document all services provided. Assist in crisis prevention and intervention as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive school climate. Serve as an essential resource for staff and families regarding mental health and educational development.
